Luke at 6

Luke Simon Wilhelm Luke is 6 months old today.

Gain Milk SupplementAs of today, gone will be his Similac guzzling days. I just bought Gain as his milk. This is his follow up milk for 6 months onwards. From now on he will be a Gain guzzling machine. I am also trying out the medium Pampers All-Night diapers. But at the rate Luke is growing, I should’ve bought large.

Pampers All-Night

Luke and SimonAt 6 months, Luke can now stand with support. He continues to progressively develop control of muscles, play with his toes and grasp his feet (especially when he needs diaper change). He also shows the ability to swallow non-liquid food, shows interest in seeing food and gets excited when his food is prepared. He crawls and rolls over the bed. He had a brake-in of his walker the other day but he just sat the whole time (too early to walk perhaps).

For sure, he weighs more than 8 kilograms right now. But the official weigh-in will be on April 21, 2006, his monthly check-up and immunization. His pediatrician is Dr. Aurelio Carino, a good friend and great doctor.

Why I Missed iBlog2 | Blackboard said (pingback):

[...] I slept with baby Luke (my wife is still in Manila for her last week of affiliation) and planned to transfer him to my parents’ room before I leave. I was ready to leave at 3 AM (Dagupan City to Manila is about 4-5 hours by bus), when suddenly he opened his eyes, stared and smiled at me. Who could resist a baby’s smile? I also realized that Luke is now 6 months old. [...]

hay, naku, simon! tested ko yang Gain milk formula sa daughter ko! kung mabilis lumaki si Luke ngayon, he will even grow faster with Gain. And he will build tissues, not only fats, and he will be able to walk before he turns one, like my daughter did.

enjoy him now, coz soon, you will realize, he is no longer the baby that you cuddle today. 'seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers,' you see….

I will. By the way, paging Abbott Laboratories- manufacturer of Similac Advance and Gain, testimonial and endorsement yan ha. :)
