Seek The Truth

Nope, this post is not about the unveiling of the truth regarding the "Hello Garci" issue, the verity of the coup plot or the alleged left-right connection/collaboration or even Manong Johnny’s allegation that Jamby cheated her way to the Senate.

Also, it is not about who is telling the truth in the legal case of Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code author who is sued by Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh (authors of The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail which they say The Da Vinci Code stole ideas from). Well, it is close enough.

"Seek the Truth" is the tagline of The Da Vinci Code movie. Yes, the controversial book which sold 40 million copies worldwide, is now on film and will be released this coming May 2006.

 The Da Vinci Code movie

Ron Howard directed the movie. Writing credits feature Dan Brown (novel) and Akiva Goldsman (screenplay). The film’s plot outline: A murder in the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings lead to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years — which could shake the foundations of Christianity.

Will Dan Brown win in the court case?

Is the case just a publicity stunt?

Will the movie outsell the book?

Will Catholics allow it to be shown?

Which will be better? The movie or the book?

Will I watch the movie and be left in awe?

Did Gloria really cheat? Will she last until May?

Decipher that. Seek the Truth.
